Queen Elizabeth I was known to be rather fond of them, but not everyone
loves ferrets.
Greendale resident James Pyers, who has 32 pet ferrets, says they are
just misunderstood.
Victorian Ferret Society member Mr Pyers, 28, will be racing some of
his ferrets at the Blackwood Easter Woodchop Carnival.
The Blackwood annual Easter Woodchop Carnival will be held at the Blackwood
Recreational Reserve on Easter Saturday (April 3) with the traditional
street parade starting at 11am.
